November 6, 2009 - Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. recently announced that its wholly owned affiliate, Enbridge Midcoast Energy, LP, has sold several natural gas pipeline companies to Denver-based American Midstream, LLC. The sale closed November 4th, with an effective date of November 1, 2009. Included in the sale are the ownership interests in two interstate gas pipeline companies – Enbridge Pipelines (Midla) LLC, “Midla”, whose pipelines are located in Louisiana and Mississippi, and Enbridge Pipelines (AlaTenn) LLC, “AlaTenn”, whose pipelines are located in Alabama and Tennessee.
